Plenary Sessions
The Plenary Sessions are presented by outstanding speakers and focus on topics of general interest related to basic science or clinical hematology.
Education Sessions
Education sessions follow a common principle and concentrate on one topic. The topic is discussed from three aspects; basic research, translational research and clinical aspects. There are twelve fi xed topics and six variable topics.

Hematology-in-Focus
The Hematology-in-Focus sessions concentrate on a hot scientifi c or clinicaltopic in any fi eld of hematology and are designed to look at the topic in-depth.
Lunch Debates
The Lunch Debates are sessions in which two opponents debate on a controversial clinical or diagnostic statement.
Meet-the-Experts
The Meet-the-Expert sessions offer a small audience a highly interactive session with an authority in his/her field.
Other sessions include the Laboratory Hematology Workshop, Molecular Hemopoiesis Workshop and Joint Symposia, with American Society of Hematology, Japanese Society of Hematology and European School of Haematology, each with their own special focus.
