Words of welcome

On behalf of the European Hematology Association, we take great pleasure in inviting you to attend the 16th Congress of EHA in London, from June 9 – 12, 2011.

The EHA congresses showcase the latest research, relevant both to basic and clinical scientists as well as state of the art Education Sessions for clinicians and hematologists in training. Oral presentations and poster sessions also offer opportunities for investigators, especially younger scientists, to present their work. The program will include Hematology-in-Focus and Meet-the- Expert sessions, as well as Lunch Debates and the EHA Scientific Working Groups.

London is one of the most exciting cities in the world! Rich in history, as well as culture, London
is an ideal venue to meet colleagues and peers to discuss the newest developments in
hematology. It will be our great pleasure to welcome you to London for the 16th Congress and
invite you to share in the vibrant atmosphere both in the congress program and the life of
the city itself.
