Public Transport

Like every year a public transport ticket is included in your registration fee. This ticket is valid from Thursday, June 10 until Sunday, June 13 and can be used in all public transport in Barcelona and Hospitalet. For more information about the public transportation in Barcelona, please be referred to the public transport map which is included in your registration package.

EHA Shuttle Service

In addition to the free use of public transport that is included in the registration fee, EHA has a shuttle bus service. Two shuttles will be running, one from the EHA HQ Hotel Rey Juan Carlos and one from the Plaça de Europa. The shuttle buses will bring you to the congress venue and back. This service is provided from Thursday, June 10 until Sunday, June 13. Buses will run every morning before the congress program starts and again in the afternoon when the program ends. Please check your public transport map to find the 2 shuttle bus meeting points.

Shuttle 1: HQ Hotel Rey Juan Carlos – Fira Gran Via Conference Center (every 15 minutes)

Public Transport

From airport to city center

• By public transport
  Bus
  Take the bus from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 to get to the city center. Frequency: every 15 minutes. Stops: Plaça Espanya – Plaça Catalunya. Operating hours: daily between 06:00 and 01:00.
  Train
  Take the train RENFE from Terminal 2 to get to the city center (to get to Terminal 2 from Terminal 1 you can use the airport shuttle service). Frequency: every 30 minutes. Stops: Sants Estació – Passeig de Gràcia – Clot. Operating hours: daily between 05:30 and 23:00.
• By taxi
  Taxi’s can be found at the main entrance of the airport at the official taxi stand (just follow the signs). Rates from Barcelona airport to the city center are around € 25.

From city center to Fira Gran Via Conference Center

• By public transport
  Take the underground L1 line (red line) or L3 line (green line) to station Plaça Espanya. Here you can get on the FGC train. It is three stops from Plaça Espanya to Plaça Europa (the nearest train station to the Fira Gran Via Conference Center). The travel time is 8 minutes. From the Plaça Europa train station (Access North) EHA provides a shuttle service between the Fira Gran Via Conference Center and back. For the shuttle bus departure times please see the time schedule on page 32. The shuttle buses will depart every 5 minutes from the square in front of Plaça Europa (Access North).
• By taxi
  Inform the taxi driver to go to Fira Gran Via - North Access (Entrada Norte). Taxis will be available in front of the Fira Gran Via Conference Center. Rates from the Fira Gran Via Conference Center to downtown Barcelona are around € 10-15. Travel time is approximately 20 minutes from the city center of Barcelona.

Taxi Service

Taxis in Barcelona may be ordered by phone, picked up at authorized taxi stands, or flagged down in the street. Always check that the meter is running. Taxis must usually be paid in cash though some accept credit cards. Radiotaxi: +34 93 303 3033, Servitaxi +34 93 330 0300

Car Parking

There are parking spaces all around the area surrounding the Fira. Parking fees have to be paid at the payment machines in the parking area. The machines accept all international credit cards, the price is € 0.04 per minute.
