Weather

The weather in Barcelona in June is usually warm. The average temperature is around 20-25°C.

Electricity Supply

In Spain sockets operate with 230 V and comply with European standards.

Banking Service

The national currency in Spain is the Euro (€). Foreign currencies can be exchanged at local banks, which are usually open from Monday to Friday between 08:30 and 14:00, closed on Saturdays and Sundays. In the Fira – Hall 8, a cash dispenser (ATM) is located in the registration area. Cash dispensers can also be found at the airport, railway stations and all over the city center. All major credit cards are accepted by hotels and stores.

Shopping in Barcelona

Normal opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 13:30 and 16:30 to 20:00; however, in the city center and shopping malls, many shops stay open all day from 10:00 to 21:00, or even later in some tourist spots such as Maremagnum. Dining out in Barcelona & Tipping

Kitchens in Barcelona restaurants are generally open from 20:00 until 24:00. Please note that all restaurant service charges are included in the bill. If you deem the service good enough to warrant a tip, we suggest a tip of about 10%. More information for restaurant reservations is available at the city information desk in the registration area.
