Language
The official language during the congress is English. All presentations are given in English.
Weather
The weather in Berlin in June is usually mild to warm. The average temperature is around 20-25°C. However, a raincoat or umbrella for occasional showers may be useful.
Electricity Supply
In Germany sockets operate with 230 V and comply with European standards.
Banking Service
The national currency in Germany is the Euro (€). Foreign currencies can be exchanged at local banks, which are usually open from Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 16:00, closed on Saturdays and Sundays. In the ICC, a cash dispenser (ATM) is located in front of the registration area and between halls 14.1 and 15.1. Cash dispensers can also be found at the airport, railway stations and all over the city center. All major credit cards are accepted by hotels and stores.
Shopping in Berlin
Most shops and department stores are open from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 and 18:00, closed on Sundays. Larger shops and shopping malls are open until 21:00 from Monday to Saturday, closed on Sundays. For more information about shopping in Berlin, please visit: www.visitberlin.de

Individual excursions and restaurant reservations can be booked at the city information desk. For hotel reservations go to the hotel information desk. These desks are located in the registration area and will be open during the following hours:

Thursday, June 4 09:00 – 18:00
Friday, June 5 09:00 – 18:00
Saturday, June 6 09:00 – 18:00
Sunday, June 7 09:00 – 12:00
Dining out in Berlin & Tipping
Kitchens in Berlin restaurants are generally open from 18:00 until 22:00. Please note that all restaurant service charges are included in the bill. If you deem the service good enough to warrant a tip, we suggest a tip of about 10%. More information for restaurant reservations are available at the city information desk in the registration area.
