Language

The official language during the congress is English. All presentations are given in English.

Weather

The weather in Copenhagen in June is usually mild to warm. The average temperature is around 20-25°C. However, a raincoat or umbrella for occasional showers may be useful.

Electricity Supply

Electricity in Denmark is supplied at 220V - 50Hz AC. The plugs have 2 round pins similar to those in many European countries.

Banking Service

The official currency in Denmark is the Danske Kroner (DKK). Foreign currencies can be exchanged to DKK at banks, which are usually open from Monday to Friday from 10:00 – 16:00, on Thursday until 18:00. In the Bella Center, a cash dispenser is located at the entrance by the Bella Center main
reception located near the registration area. Cash dispensers can also be found at the airport, railway stations and all over the city center. All major credit cards are accepted by hotels and stores.

Individual excursions can be booked at the excursion desk. For hotel reservations and information about Copenhagen, go to the Hotel & City Information desk. These desks are located in the Center Hall and will be open during the following hours:

Shopping in Copenhagen

Most shops are open on weekdays from 09:00 – 18:00 (some until 20:00) and on Saturdays from 09:00 – 14:00. Larger shops and malls are open until 17:00 on Saturday. Shops are closed on Sunday. Dining out in Copenhagen & Tipping

Kitchens in Copenhagen restaurants are generally open from 18:00 until 22:00. Please note that all restaurant service charges are included in the bill. If you deem the service good enough to warrant a tip, we suggest a tip of about 10%. More information for restaurant reservations are available at the Restaurant Reservations desk in the Center Hall.
