Social programCONGRESS CONCERT
Please note: The capacity of the Konzerthaus is limited. Registration for this event will be handled on a “first come, first served” basis. The EHA Congress Concert will be an unforgettable event that you should not miss! Enjoy the typical, world famous Viennese sound of music. Surrender yourself to the charms of the Viennese Virtuoses orchestra and lovely soprano Diana Damrau, presenting pieces from Mozart, Brahms and Strauss. Your trip to Vienna will not be complete without musical pleasures. THE KONZERTHAUS When, in 1913, the Vienna Konzerthaus was officially opened it was one of the most modern buildings in the Danube Monarchy. Architecturally the Konzerthaus presented a rare combination of Historism, Secessionism and Art Nouveau styles. The Vienna Konzerthaus is one of the largest and most artistically progressive institutions in international musical life and with its unique atmosphere the Vienna Konzerthaus attracts many artists from the international music scene. In the heart of the building (which consists of more than 600 rooms) lies the Konzerthaus’s flagship, the Great Hall. Designed with a sense of space and classical balance, its stage provides the setting for the unique EHA concert. In this room, artists, audiences and atmosphere blend into a harmonious triad. FAREWELL LUNCH BUFFET
Directly after the final plenary session of the official congress program, the 12th Congress will officially be closed. After this short ceremony, you will be invited to a typical Viennese Farewell Lunch Buffet. We will see buildings like the Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Natural History, the City Hall, the Burgtheater, the Parliament, the University, and many more.
